“Winter Marsh” – Oil on canvas, 16″ x 20″
Upon moving to National Park in Gloucester County, I fell in love with the area, taking walks at the Red Bank Battlefield, RiverWinds, and along Grove overlooking the Woodbury Creek and the marsh lands. My wife, Karen fell in love with this piece and it became hers. It would serve to be a turning point in my painting as I began to experiment with a looser, more expressive approach. It’s one of my favorites to this day! Obviously, it’s not for sale (NFS), but giclée prints are!. – Louis
